Liquid Applied Membrane - LDC 60

Product Description

 Cold Fluid-Applied Polyurethane Waterproofing

LDC 60 Cold Fluid-Applied Polyurethane Waterproofing

LDC 60 is a single component, moisture cure modified polyurethane waterproofing membrane. LDC 60 is cold fluid applied and cures to form a seamless, elastomeric membrane that is positively bonded to the substrate. LDC 60 is typically applied by roller, or squeegee. Its fluid application allows it to be installed at difficult areas, such as around multiple pipe penetrations and over irregular substrates.

LDC 60 is produced in two grades: LDC 60H and LDC 60V. LDC 60H is a less viscous product designed for horizontal applications where it self-levels to produce the required minimum 60 mil (1.5 mm) thickness. LDC 60V is produced at a thicker viscosity for vertical wall applications. Typically LDC 60V is installed in at least two passes to provide the required 60 mil (1.5 mm) thickness on vertical surfaces.

LDC 60 fluid applied membrane is ideal for waterproofing concrete, masonry block, and wood surfaces. It can be applied to foundation walls, planters, utility vaults, and earth sheltered structures. Also it can be used to waterproof split-slab construction, both above and below-grade, such as plaza decks, balconies, and parking decks. Interior uses may include mechanical rooms, laboratories, kitchens, and bathrooms. LDC 60 membranes are typically not recommended for under slab applications and can not be used for property line applications.

The product requires a few minutes of mixing before being cold-applied to a properly prepared substrate. Concrete surfaces must be cured properly and dried a minimum of 7 days for normal structural concrete and 14 days for lightweight structural concrete or non-vented pan decks. LDC 60 membranes require a protection board for all applications and should only be installed when ambient temperatures are above 40°F (4°C).

LDC 60 provides a quick and easy means of installing a cold fluid applied waterproofing membrane on both horizontal and vertical surfaces to protect against the infiltration of water.

Product Packaging: Both LDC 60 products are supplied in 5-gallon (18.9 l) pails.
Each pallet contains 36 pails.
