Bentomat^® CL is a reinforced GCL composed of two carrier geotextiles needlepunched together to encapsulate a layer of Volclay sodium bentonite.

Bentomat^® ST is a reinforced GCL consisting of a layer of Volclay® sodium bentonite encapsulated between two geotextiles, needle-punched together for maximum performance under a wide variety of field conditions.

Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCL's) are high performance environmental liners comprised of geosynthetic carrier components bonded to a layer of low-permeability Volclay® sodium bentonite.

SuperGroove™ is a precision cut in the non-woven geotextile of Bentomat that allows bentonite to more freely extrude into the overlap zone. The SuperGroove ensures that the hydraulic performance of the entire seamed GCL system is equal to that of unseamed portions.

Lakemat is manufactured with a high quality water barrier media with, high swell characteristics. In a confined environment, the media create an impermeable gel layer when it becomes hydrated. LAKE Mat’s self-healing properties allow this liner to repair itself if it is punctured, to prevent leakage

HDD Drilling Fluids
Drilling fluids have several important functions. They cool and lubricate the drill bit, stem and other down hole tools. The fluid also assists in sealing the sides of the bore, therefore stabilizing the borehole. Finally, drilling fluids are designed to carry the cuttings out of the hole. A good drilling fluid should provide all of these functions. More sophisticated fluids actually stabilize reactive soils or allow the transport of larger particles and stones out of the hole.
