Extensive GreenScapes Greenroof
Designed to be lightweight and support plants tolerant of drought conditions, extensive designs are considered low maintenance with irrigation not required in most climates. This shallow growing media option is typically used to mitigate the effects of the urban heat island phenomenon and reduce stormwater runoff.
Intensive GreenScapes Greenroof
Intensive GreenScapes look like traditional roof gardens because a much wider variety of plants can be included since growing media depths are increased. This option is often designed to be accessible for recreational use and to add green space for visual pleasure. Hardscape elements such as pavers, benches and water features can also be integrated into your design.
